To support our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs and to enhance our research profile, we are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Competition Law.

The post holder will contribute to the intellectual life of the School by conducting and publishing outstanding research, engaging in high-quality teaching in accordance with the instructions of the Dean of the School of Law, and participating in the School of Law and wider School activities.

Candidates must have the ability to build an international reputation in competition law and a demonstrated ability to publish in top journals or with leading book publishers as demonstrated by current publications, or the ability to do so. Candidates will have a clear, well-developed and workable strategy for outstanding future research that has the potential to lead to world-leading publications. Candidates must have a Juris Doctor or equivalent research degree (or be on the verge of obtaining a PhD) by the September 2026 start date and be committed to high-quality teaching and promoting a positive learning environment for students, including pastoral care.
