The Harford College invites the requests of assistant professor in the field of linguistics, with the basic specialization in social dumping scholars, secondary specialization (for example, sentence construction, Morvosintax, among other things). The total linguist in Haverford is part of the Tri-College Linguistics Department, which also includes Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore colleges.

Candidates must obtain a doctorate in linguistics and a busy record of research in the field of specialization that explains the rigor and intellectual promise. The successful candidate is expected to study at all levels of the curriculum, from preliminary courses in or more linguistics to advanced seminars in the field of specialization. They will also present university students and guidance at the thesis of a large thesis on a wide range of topics. We are looking for candidates interested in educational practices studied, creative and participating. The ideal candidate will prove a commitment to the creation of comprehensive and intellectually difficult environments inside and outside the classroom spaces where the various student committee enables learning and prosperity. We are also looking for a candidate who will contribute to our growing section because we consider the ways that we will enable us to expand the enhancement of the role of linguistic social investigation in our approach.

The Haraford College adopts the hesitant teacher model and supports faculty members ’research through programs and financing opportunities such as Saturday before reviewing the successful third year. The date begins on July 1, 2026, with all the doctorate requirements to be completed by August 31, 2026.
