The Department of Cells and Systems Biology at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University of Toronto invites requests to obtain a full -time possession center in the field of animal formation. The appointment will be in the rank of assistant professor with an expected start date on July 1, 2026.
We are looking for distinguished applicants who have a busy record of the distinction shown in the application of cell biological methods to address basic questions in animal formation that will enhance and complement the strengths of cell biology and systems in genome science, developmental biology, cell biology, molecular biology, and biological information. Candidates should use advanced methods of photography, mechanical biology, and/or systems to treat tissue formation issues during animal growth.
Candidates should have a doctorate in biology or relevant field (for example, molecular and cellular biology, biology of systems, industrial biology, developmental biology, genome biology, genetics, etc.), at least two years of post -PhD experience, a clear record of excellence in research and teaching. It is expected that the successful candidate will follow and create a strong, innovative research program from abroad and independent.
Evidence for excellence in research will be shown through a record of publications in relevant and relevant field magazines or upcoming publications that meet high international standards, the presentation statement presented, presentations in important conferences, evidence of the financing of research that was reviewed by peers, and strong consensus by high rulers.
Evidence for excellence in teaching will be proven through teaching achievements, education file, including teaching statement, training course materials, teaching assessments or other evidence of the superior performance in the activities related to teaching provided as part of the application, in addition to strong reference messages.
