Join Row Partners Inc, the world’s first PEO (Professional Employer Organization) as our Employment Law Attorney and General Counsel. You will serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership while ensuring the organization operates within the scope of federal, state, and local employment and corporate laws. This is a key leadership role with broad responsibility across ERISA, employment law compliance, client contract negotiation, risk management, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as lead legal advisor to the CEO and executive team

Lead and manage all legal matters including labor and employment law, ERISA, contracts, compliance, and litigation

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating customer service agreements, vendor contracts and partnership deals

Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g. DOL, EEOC, OSHA, IRS, government agencies)

Supervising and supervising risk management programs and dealing with disputes and legal claims

Support HR and Benefits teams with interpretation of employment laws across multiple jurisdictions and ERISA compliance

Develop and maintain internal policies and training to mitigate legal exposure

Manage relationships with external counsel as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years of legal experience, with a significant focus on employment law, corporate law, or related areas

Experience working with or advising a PEO or HR outsourcing company, or in a highly regulated multi-state employer environment preferred.

Proven ability to handle complex legal issues across multiple jurisdictions

Strategic thinker with excellent judgment, negotiation skills and business acumen

Experience managing legal teams, external advisor contracts and relationships, and risk management functions including compliance and regulatory matters.
