Coverage of daily and breaking news. Contact us if you love video editing and have experience in it

Making drawings and can work under deadline. This position will work a shift from 8am to 4pm ET.

Creativity and being a team player is also an essential part of the job. So hurry up. We have a lot to do.

Responsibilities / Bulk of the Job:

• Work closely with producers and co-producers by assisting them with editing

Video and graphics

• Help research and verify stories quickly and accurately

• Show smart, engaging stories for everyday and future verticals that will resonate

With our audience

• Constantly monitor show recaps to ensure our videos and graphics are up to date

Place, accurate and current

• Extract and edit the best video and audio for custom stories

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• You have worked in radio, digital or cable broadcasting, including internships, for at least two years
• You know how to edit video on Avid
• You have an interest and passion for journalism and are up to date on the latest news in multiple subject areas
• You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• You are willing to work in New York, NY

Additional requirements:
• Hybrid: This position is classified as hybrid, and generally contributes from the office a minimum of three days per week.
