Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for an IT Support Specialist to provide IT technical support to the college. This role is based on our Roundhouse campus.

Opportunity

Join our dynamic IT team as an IT Support Specialist, providing responsive and professional technical support at all college locations. You will handle first and second line support, hardware/software installation and maintenance, and help desk ticket management using Hornbill. This role provides diversity, collaboration and the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge while providing excellent customer service to staff, students and stakeholders.

About you

You are a proactive, customer-focused individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working independently or within a team, you are keen on professional development. You have experience using Windows, Microsoft Office, and IT help desk functionality, and an understanding of cloud services and mobile operating systems. A driving license and Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths are essential, along with the ability to handle computers safely.
