Geological College position and Geosensing
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Houston University calls for requests for full -time faculty members in the geographic/geographical geographical area. Qualifications
We are looking for an exceptional person to lead an internationally recognized dynamic research and teaching program at the intersection of geological mechanical moderation, geological jamming, and learning/data analyzes. The ideal filter will have a background in civil and environmental engineering, earthly, or geomatic sciences, with a strong record of research excellence and scientific publications in mathematical modeling/theory and applying them to remote sensing techniques. In particular, we encourage applications from individuals whose work deals with natural risks (for example, earthquakes, landslides), ground thermal energy, or important areas at the national level such as mineral exploration and recovery. Preference will be given to candidates who can: (1) Development of cooperative research programs that integrate geological mechanics and geological sensing; (2) Contributing to teaching in postgraduate studies and university students in related fields; And (3) Application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to large monitoring data collections in cross -field. The candidate will join a focused team of faculty and research scientists who grant scholarships funded from abroad and supports teaching assets in multi -disciplinary research programs at the College of Engineering in Colin.
