Assistant Professor in German Middle Ages at Cambridge University

The Faculty of Languages, Modern Linguistic and Middle Ages at Cambridge University seeks to appoint a full -time assistant professor in German Middle Ages as of September 1, 2026. The college will provide job development and guidance for a successful candidate and strongly adhere to equality, diversity and comprehensiveness.

The assistant professor is expected to contribute to the teaching and study of German literature and culture in the Middle Ages at the level of university and graduate studies. They will also play cooperation in teaching and research between the departments of language in the College of Languages, Modern Bigs, Middle Ages and with other colleges, and will actively contribute to the International Human Initiative in the College of Arts and Humanity and other relevant strategic projects. The role includes a contribution to managing the activities of the German department and those of faculty members on a larger scale. We welcome the applicants who have a record of excellence in the research, in proportion to the functional stage, and a strong path.

Candidates will have a related teaching experience, and they have successfully completed a doctoral degree in a field of start by starting to participate and are able to show the active group participation in research, teaching and communication in German studies, modern languages ​​and medieval centuries on a broader scale.
