Washington West University, with more than 15,000 students in seven colleges and the graduate schools, recognized at the national level of its educational programs, students and faculty members. Originally a program within the Department of Engineering and Design, we have become an independent department in response to the growing demand for students and industry and we were eager to move to the modern Kaiser Borsari hall that was created recently. The new building will enhance our commitment to learning that focuses on students and provides space for research and development for faculty and students’ projects. The department offers an accredited university degree from ABET and launches a new major program in electrical engineering and computer engineering in the fall of 2025. Exceptional scientists from all fields of electrical engineering and computer engineering are encouraged to apply, especially those who bring experience that complements or expands on strengths College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. The situation includes the development and teaching of electrical courses and computer -based computer engineering, research conducting, advice for students, participation with the community, and service to support the Department of Electrical Engineering, Computer and University. This situation provides a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of the department’s growth, including developing new curricula, research fields and laboratory facilities. The situation requires a strong commitment to teaching and scholarships that support The mission of the section. Responsibilities include teaching basic courses and services in electrical engineering and computer engineering, as well as developing and teaching advanced courses/ at the level of graduate studies in the field of candidate specialization. Scholarship responsibilities include the development and maintenance of a relevant scholarship program that involves our students.
