Macao University (UM) is a comprehensive public university with an international orientation in the MSAR Special Administrative District (MSAR) located in the West Bank of the Gwingong Hong Kong Macau Greater (GBA). GBA is rapidly developing into one of the world’s leading technology and innovation centers. The Ministry of Government and the General Administration of the College of Social Sciences invites requests to obtain an academic position in the rank of assistant professor/assistant professor/public administration and public policy.

The Ministry of Government and Public Administration is currently consisting of more than 20 academic members and providing programs that lead to a bachelor’s degree, master’s and doctorate. The faculty members actively participate in research with a special focus on public administration and politics, international relations, comparative policy, political economy, and the studies of the Greater China region. Qualifications

The field of specialization is required is the public administration, which is widely defined to include the sub -public administration of the Chinese General Administration, new/cooperative governance, smart cities administration, e -government, government/society interactions, large data and new technological innovation, governance in the Greater China region, and other topics related to policy and governance for public affairs. The appointment can be in the rank of associate professor/assistant, depending on qualifications. Applicants must receive a doctoral degree in a field of relevant and installed for publishing in high international magazines and printing. Applicants must document excellence in high -quality research and scholarships. They must also show a strong commitment to teaching courses in the new governance, analysis of public policy, new technologies and innovations in government, and methods of research in governance, etc., in both levels of postgraduate studies and university students in the English language and it is also preferred in Chinese as the administration runs many Chinese programs and courses that learn, especially the master’s program in social sciences in public administration and the professional doctorate program in public administration.

The chosen candidate is expected to bear a duty August 2026.
