Assistant Professor of Acting

The theater, dance and cinema school at Texas State University seeks an assistant professor of acting (the path of possession or professor of practice), starting from the fall of 2026.

The New Hire will join an internationally recognized department with a dynamic college for the acting program for theater and the screen that celebrates the students of the appointed students at the national level.
We dedicate a cooperative and innovative approach to teaching that gives priority to contemporary professional standards in all code environments, employment, classrooms and production.

Responsibilities include:

• COURSLOAD teaching is commensurate with the rank
• Provide advice, training and direct students of BFA
• Work as an active member in the acting area
• Organizing and supporting joint methodological initiatives
• Insurance and participation with professional guest artists
• Participate in administrative needs related to the representation area
• Recruitment of the BFA Acting Students
• Attending products and participating in joint systematic work with the concerned students
• Creative creativity and/or research continued as required in the rank
• Contributing to the continued development and development of the program and management usually in the form of service and work of the committee.

salary: Min $ 62,000 is proportional to arrangement and experience (negotiable)
