Do you have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working through a variety of tasks and responsibilities? We are looking for a Support Clerk to assist with the queue at the Service Center. If you enjoy a variety of front-of-house counter service delivery, along with administrative support duties, consider joining us on this 12-month temporary opportunity.

How you will make a difference:

You will use your office management and customer service skills to assist our team.

Where will you work?

In this role, you will work in our Richmond office five days a week.

What will you do?

As a support writer you will:

  • Handling provincial employer phone calls regarding clearance status and directing callers on how to access and use the clearance application on the WorksafeBC website
  • Provides outstanding customer service to customers at the front counter regarding inquiries, accepts payments, and directs customers to the employer service representative when necessary
  • Receive, confirm and prepare employer refunds generated by co-workers in the service center and liaise with the accounting department to ensure special instructions are followed regarding refunds
  • Process and index incoming digital mail
  • Batch, scan and index incoming documents required for employer files

Is this right for you?

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Rotate through a variety of tasks and responsibilities
  • Provide excellent personal and over the phone customer service
  • Organizing and processing incoming and outgoing correspondence

Your background and experience

  • At least a grade 12 education
  • Use Microsoft Word and Excel efficiently

Salary: $25.41/hour
