The Ministry of Population in Nuffield contains the global famous population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multidisciplinary research and teaching.
We are looking for an environmentally funded environmental sustainable health research project (Share) at the Etoxus Center. The participation project seeks to explore what it means for health research practices and policies to be an environmental official. It takes a experimental approach and colonial processes of this question by engaging with researchers and groups of various cognitive, cultural and geographical contexts and asking critical questions about the integrity of the practices responsible for the environment in the context of global health research in addition to the limits of compliance -based methods.
This is an exciting role that includes the development and presentation of conceptual and normative guidelines for environmentally sustainable practices and policies in health research. We are particularly interested in conceptual and normative curricula that depend on feminist, relationship, non -western or non -anthropology methods. The postal holder will work closely with the assistant professor Federica Lucifero and the collaborators of the project in the United Kingdom, India, Kenya, Ghana and Brazil. The role will include conducting reviews and analyzes of relevant literature, participating in the analysis of qualitative interviews and research, identifying conceptual and/or relevant frameworks, and contributing activity in designing joint practical resources with research societies and drafting papers.
You will be responsible for managing your academic activities and administrative activities, adapting and developing new concepts in relation to the qualitative experimental data collected in the project, in addition to contributing to ideas for new research projects.
You will (or be on the verge of completion of) DVHil in morals (vitality), philosophy, sociology, anthropology, or other relevant topics. You will have some specialized experience and knowledge in discipline to work effectively in the research program. You will have experience in the conceptual reflection application on experimental data. You will also have experience in managing a separate field for an independent research project, and you have excellent communication skills.
This is full -time (part -time study), a fixed period of 3 years.
