The opening of the position of faculty in the field of possession of DGIST 2025-3

3. Employment departments and academic fields

1) Department of Physics and Chemistry
Physics
Quantum physics, physics semiconductor, optics, soft material physics, and statistical physics
– All areas in physics for exceptional candidates

• chemistry
Analytical chemistry, mathematical chemistry, electrical chemistry
– All areas of chemistry for exceptional candidates

2) Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
• While applicants who have shown distinguished research in all fields of electrical engineering and computer science will be considered, preference will be given to those in the following areas:
Computer structure, operating system, database, high performance computing
– NLP, artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence theory, and other related areas in AI and ML
Database/Data Extract/Big Data

3) Mechatronic robotics and engineering section
• Artificial intelligence of robots: artificial intelligence algorithm, deep learning, machine learning, movement planning, smart control, and other relevant topics

4. Rehabilitation

8. Issues of consideration
⦁ DGIST retains the right to not specify an appointment if qualified candidates are not found.
⦁ The appointment may be postponed due to the internal conditions of DGIST.
⦁ The chosen candidates at each stage will be notified individually of detailed information about the conditions of employment.
⦁ The appointment must be canceled under the following circumstances:
If the wrong entries or adjustments are found in the application form.
– If the candidate fails to obtain a PhD at the time of appointment.
⦁ The appointment and acceptance will also be canceled if the candidate, or any person is closely related to the candidate, participates in any form of misconduct, such as submitting improper requests, stress, or providing financial benefits regarding the recruitment process, which leads to their unfair selection.
⦁ The appointment will be restricted if the candidate is subject to the abolition of the measurement, which is stipulated in the Public Personnel Law in the state, (Article 33), or the DGIST regulations regarding the management of faculty members, (Article 12).
⦁ Unlimited matters in this announcement will be governed by the management of the staff of the faculty and relevant policies.
