The Vice President fills an important role for the task in overseeing the engine license training program and its promotion in Maritime College. Duties and responsibilities:

• Manage the training program on the authorized engine license, and planning for beach training activities, on board the college training ship during the annual summer sea term (SST)

• Engineering training during SST is running as a senior engine training official (SETO). The candidate is expected to participate in part or full in at least two SST development every three years. The salary salary that has been coordinated may be applied

• Teaching the appropriate courses during the academic year on the beach on 1/2

• Helping the President of Engineering as needed

• Working with the Director of Maritime Education and training on all matters that involve the STCW license, including the summer sea period and shipping

This position will be administrative and renewed with a 12 -month commitment, including academic duties in the assistant/assistant professor/full. This position is an academic date for the course of the period in the appropriate rank in line with qualifications and experience. It is expected to participate in the term summer sea (SST) as shown above. When you are not on SST, the vice president will be administrative and logistical support in the beach.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field suitable for college engineering programs, marine engineering, marine engineering, mechanical engineering, utility engineering, electrical engineering or the closely related field

• An active or inactive engineering license (1A/E or C/E) is a USCG engineering license with a STCW certificate

• Owning or be able to obtain a valid American passport currently, and the data of the definition of the transport factor (Twic), the MARINER Mariner (MMC) accreditation, and a valid medical certificate

Industrial experience, especially in the marine industry

• At least 3 years of previous experience in budget control, employee management, and training development

Additional information:

Classification: Assistant, Assistant or Professor 12 months are UUP positions. The expected salary will be $ 90,000.00 to $ 115,000.00 for the contract and includes official assistance opportunities as part of the suspended feature package (for more information, please see the benefits of UUP full -time weapons).
