The Human Sciences Department at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) calls for requests for the position of evidence in philosophyand With the expected start date on July 2, 2026, or as soon as possible after that. We invite requests at all ranks (Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor), although we especially welcome applications at the level of the professor and assistant professor with evidence.

While the field is open, a research background in Confucianism – and/or experience in ethics, biological ethics, moral philosophy, religion, or other contemporary importance – will be an advantage; We also welcome the strong applicants in other regions.

A successful candidate must prove a commitment to excellence in research and teaching, in addition to a strong posting record for the job stage. For applicants at the level of the professor or assistant professor, the record of obtaining competitive external financing will be in addition.

The start of the salary will be a competitor and is appropriate for qualifications and experience. Margin benefits will be provided, including annual leave and medical/dental benefits. Housing advantages will also be provided when necessary. The initial appointment is usually in the rank of assistant professor in a three -year contract, renewed for the mutual agreement. A reward will be paid at successfully completing the contract.
