Bernard and Ann Spitzer School of Architecture seeks to obtain requests for a full -time acquisition in architecture in the rank of assistant professor. The field of specialization is architectural technology. The appointment of this faculty will start in the fall of 2026 and includes the responsibilities of teaching, research and service allied with Spitzer programs approved in architecture-bachelor’s degree in architecture for five years, and a master’s degree in architecture for three years. A record of multiple publications (books, articles,/or reviews) is needed or evidence of future scientific and productive excellence. A successful candidate must also be a dedicated teacher, which indicates his commitment and experience in teaching the basic curriculum in architecture, including design studios and required building technology serials in undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as optional seminars in architectural technology. Qualifications

Candidates must obtain an accredited Master degree from NAAB and a professional license to practice architecture or a doctorate in a related field. There is also a need for the ability to teach successfully, scholarships or achievement, and the ability to cooperate with others for the benefit of the institution. A record of multiple publications (books, articles,/or reviews) is needed or evidence of future scientific and productive excellence.

Favorite qualifications

The candidate must have experience in teaching university design studios and/or graduate studies, lecture courses,/or seminars in architecture and construction technology, in addition to a clear research agenda that shows disciplinary standards in the rank of assistant professor. A clear commitment to the city’s life and the basic principles of the General Education Corporation with a very diverse student body are expected. The cooperative and directed spirit towards the team is necessary. Prefer design experience.

compensation

Salary range: $ 76,937 – 109,025 dollars
