The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department seeks to obtain an assistant professor in education or an assistant assistant teacher in the fields of environmental resources and water engineering. The chosen candidate for the assistant professor in the position of education is expected to obtain a doctorate degree acquired from an accredited institution in civil engineering or environmental engineering or a close field. Candidates for the position of assistant coach must receive a master’s degree, 5 years of professional experience, and professional engineering license (PE) and show experience in effective teaching. Candidates should be qualified to teach basic undergraduate courses that support Bachelor’s degree in both civil engineering (BSCE) and environmental engineering (BSEV), such as environmental systems engineering, environmental engineering laboratory, basic fluid mechanics, hydraulic, and hydraulic laboratories. Candidates can also develop courses at university levels and graduate studies in the regions mentioned above. Additional responsibilities include participating in the committees of departments, colleges and universities, helping with ABET accreditation activities and assisting advice to students. Candidates who have a clear interest in developing the most effective civil and environmental engineering programs are encouraged to progress.

The salary will be suitable for qualifications and experience. Successful candidates (candidates) are expected to start in the spring of 2026 or autumn of 2026. The candidates are also expected to show driving and communication skills, and be able to work effectively with students and colleagues and participate actively in professional societies. Candidates who have a PE license or who are specially approved environmental engineers from the Board of Directors are encouraged to apply.
