The Department of Romantic Studies at the University of Tatst calls for the requests of a full -time Spanish assistant professor to start September 1, 2026, with the possibility of renewal.

Responsibilities

• Teach 6 sessions annually (3 in autumn and 3 in the spring) in Spanish language and culture. Language courses will be at the primary and medium level; Cultural studies can be taught in Spanish or in English.
• Contribute to the activities of building curriculum.
• As before Al -Zarri and the main consultant.
• Service in two committees.

Qualifications

· PhD Master (or ABD) in Spanish or the field associated with thanks

· The original or semi -original fluency in Spanish and English

· Excellence in the design and presentation of Spanish language and culture courses at the college level in the United States, with a special interest in the enthusiastic candidates to teach Spanish and medium -sized Spanish

· Experience in developing and/or implementing project -based curricula and/or based on preferred tasks

· Evidence

· Organizational skills and strong communication

· Exceptional personal skills, enhancing supportive, cooperative and comprehensive relations with colleagues and students

· The clear commitment to active participation in the life of departments and students ’activities, including organizing events, supporting extracurricular initiatives, and guidance

The candidates must submit a request letter, CV, and to explain the teaching philosophy, and to evaluate students for three recently teaching Spanish courses.
