Assistant or Associate Professor In development economics

The salary of the assistant professor is not less than 68,087 pounds annually

The salary of the assistant professor is not less than 80,927 pounds annually

The Ministry of International Development invites assistant requests or associate professor in development economics. We are a vibrant multidisciplinary section looking for candidates on the boundaries of the total or accurate development economies, the strong skills in experimental causal reasoning, and clear interest in field research.

A successful candidate will play a major role in the growing MSC formation. In the Economic Policy of International Development (APID) and providing high -quality teaching at the levels of master’s and doctorate degree for students throughout the department. They will show an obligation to work in a multidisciplinary environment and contribute to the intellectual life of the school through conducting and publishing distinguished research, participating in high -quality education as well as instructions by the head of the department, and participating in the activities of schools and broader activities.

The successful applicants for the position of assistant professor will have a PhD, or they are about to complete the doctorate degree by the date of the start, in a relevant field. They must have the ability to conduct quantitative experimental research using modern causal reasoning and spreading excellent work in the higher economic magazines.

In addition, candidates who advance at the auxiliary level will publish global research in the highest economy magazines, international reputation in development economics research, a strong pipeline of work under progress and a clear and developed strategy for future research that has the ability to lead to global publications.

The start date is perfect by September 1, 2026.
