This initiative is designed to enhance cooperation through disciplines and stimulate transformational research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, technology, data science, infrastructure and sustainability.

We are looking for insight scholars and thinking forward whose work is progressing in digital and effective transformation in energy and sustainable environment for urban environments, production systems and material design.

Experienced applicants – including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning or automation – are encouraged to apply, especially when these tools enhance engineering solutions for complex urban and industrial systems.

This group’s rental is in line with one of the primary strategic priorities of the college: the development of targeted research areas with a strong possibility for national influence, expanded external financing, and regional application. New faculty will cooperate through specializations and with the experts of the current faculty members to contribute to a vibrant and comprehensive research environmental system that enhances the national leadership of the college in creating smart cities and beyond.

The topic of smart cities at the forefront of national and international priorities for urban flexibility, sustainability and innovation. In support of this vision, a special consideration will be paid to the candidates whose experience is in the following areas:

1. Smart infrastructure and urban planning-the integration of the urban range of physical cyber and the Internet of Things; Infrastructure and smart infrastructure systems; Urban planning based on data and digital twins; Volcanic economy models and sustainable city design; Green infrastructure and nature -based solutions; Urban flexibility and disaster risk management; Accounting tools and AI-with the help of AI.
2. Energy and the Environment – Renewable Energy Integration and Smart Network Improvement; Electrification and storage of energy and hydrogen technologies; Urban energy modeling and environmental sensing; The Water Energy Association and urban ecosystems provide resources; Data analyzes and machine learning to predict energy.
3. Advanced manufacturing – property, polymers, vehicles; Robots, automation and physical cyberspace production systems; Sustainable, low -carbon or circular manufacturing operations; Smart supply chains and urban manufacturing integration; Control of the process supported by artificial intelligence and predictive maintenance; Advanced manufacturing and automation systems including added, hybrid and smart manufacturing.
