The English Language Department at the University of Notre Dame calls for requests and nominations for the position of a full -time assistant professor, in any aspect of American literature, one of the oldest texts during the First World War. The duties of the position include teaching, research and service. Special attention will be paid to applicants who have experience in periods of 1865, including the colonial period, the revolutionary era, and the American Renaissance. We invite work that looks at any number of types such as imagination, poetry, speech, drama and stories. Specialization is open and may include experience in multi -ethnic literature (including American -African literature and original American literature); Religion and literature. Sound, performance and media studies; The national approach to American literature; And/or American literature is seen as a branch of worldly English literature. While these priorities, scientists who have other areas are encouraged to focus on serving and will be considered completely.

Qualifications:

Candidates at the entry level must have completed all doctoral requirements. A degree or completed all theses in American literature or relevant field. Candidates at the advanced assistant level must have a doctorate degree. In American literature or a related field.
