Applicants and experience with experienced people who have a strong posting record must be created and be able to contribute to university teaching and postgraduate studies in this rapid developing field in the school. The post requires experience in writing and teaching prose fiction in particular, and we are also interested in applicants who can contribute to at least one field of writing experience.

The successful candidate will teach in the BA program in English through creative writing, MA and MFA programs in creative writing, supervision of PhD and projects after doctorate.

UCD creative writing is characterized by its strong links with prominent individual writers and with art organizations in Dublin, Ireland and beyond. It is expected that the successful candidate will contribute to these links and play a role in preserving the program to bring visitors visiting to the campus for readings and interacting with students.

95 lecturers/professor ASST above the bar (7943) salary scale: 64,753 euros – 102,539 euros annually

The appointment will be widely and according to the Ministry of Finance guidance
