Section/Site: Department of Radiology

The radiology department is an international competitive section that works as an innovative research in medical photography. It consists of a multidisciplinary team of dedicated academic radiologists and photography scientists, with doctorate and doctoral training programs. The department performs a world leading research in many fields including white photography, MRI, pets, and images analysis.

This university post is full -time in the academic radiology section with clinical sessions at the Cambridge University Hospital.

Artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and photo analysis program grows and covers many methods. This is a strategic field of development in the next decade, which is essential for many biomedical developments throughout the campus.

The successful applicant will be supported in building a set of clinical photography research projects that have a large component of image analysis or mL or images inside. The integration of photography data with other data sources – such as clinical data, tissues or liquid vital indicators – will be used to improve the disease and prediction or discover the response to treatment.

The applicant will be clinically qualified, specialized in radiology or nuclear medicine, who conducted a great search in the fields of AI or ML or images analysis and currently works actively in the clinical photography environment. The appointed will have a busy record in these areas and an increased reputation as a leader in this field. The appointed person is expected to expand the research in the department to innovative new areas for the patient.

Once the employment offer is accepted, the successful candidate will be asked to undergo a healthy evaluation. This date also requires an honorary clinical contract.
