We proudly support modern spaces and historical repairs from New York in California to Alaska to Australia and continue to grow. This position offers the opportunity to make an effective contribution to the established product, while providing significant support for independent cinema and film festival community.
We are looking for a senior full developer based in North America’s temporary belt to join our small distributed development team.
Duties
- Architect and Develop Figctions and Fixes Errors for Our WordPress Applications and Respond
- Conduct code reviews to maintain quality standards
- Collaborate with Technical Director to improve architecture and engineering standards
- Translate product goals and business needs into written development requirements
- Contribute and support our AWS infrastructure
- Help your customer support team when troubleshooting
- Participate in our overall call on the call (every 4 weeks) for an emergency coverage at the Peak Cinema (nights and weekends)
- Serves as a backup for emergency technical issues when the technical director is unavailable
Qualifications
- Work experience with WordPress, Multisite/Multi-Network WordPress
- 5+ years of experience with modern PHP, MVC Frameworks and MySQL
- 3+ years of experience with AWS (RDS/EC2/S3)
- 2+ years experience with Javascript (JQuery/React/Node), CSS, SCS
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and debugging
- Familiarity with Vagrant, Nginx, PHP-FPM and command line Linux
- A firm understanding of the concepts of networks
- Experience Payment E -Commerce and API eg Stripe
- Proven time management experience and command communication in remote work conditions
- Based in the US
- Fluently in English

- It is convenient for you to cross to eliminate the problems with customer problems in real time when supporting the team needs a hand.
- You are pleased to work in a small team rather than in a large corporate environment.
- You have a reasonable look at the use of AI tools to supplement both the development team performance and/or the Filmbot product.

Refund
- You will be hired as a remote staff member with an annual $ 100,000 salary range – $ 125,000, depending on your experience and location.
- We offer individual health compensation (Ichra) 1000 per month for individual US residents with health insurance plans entitled to Ichra; 2000 dollars per month for qualifying families.
- We offer a retirement plan 401 (K) with a percentage of the employer match.
