In Squad, our photo quality team is at the forefront of achieving exceptional photography standards for various smart home security products and Internet of Things products. We are proud of one of the best photo quality laboratories in Eastern Europe, and we achieve professional results in the test and reinforcement.

Our intelligence laboratories can test approximately 200 products at one time, ensuring efficiency without sacrificing quality. We strive to improve image processing using advanced technology to measure quality and analyze it with scientific accuracy, and cover the main factors such as intensity, distortion, noise, dynamic scope and color accuracy.

Summary of the job

As a major member of our hardware engineering team, you will play a key role in developing image quality and verifying its authenticity of our diverse production line. You will closely cooperate with our compact teams and devices, and fill the gap between the latest imaging techniques in our devices and practical implementation. Your experience will be useful in improving the integration of software algorithms with the capabilities of the devices, ensuring that our cameras are well performed exceptionally in different lighting conditions and environments.

Responsibilities and duties

– Cooperation with software development teams to collect and understand the requirements of new features and specifications
– Take tests on smart home security and Internet of Things, and measuring image quality parameters in different stages of image and video processing
– Test on additional ingredients such as lenses, photo sensors and surrounding light sensors
Providing constructive notes to software engineers based on the results of the test and performance standards
-Work on the site in photo quality laboratories (KYIV BC Platforma Office) as needed based on requests

Qualifications and skills

– Experience in the role of testing or development within the product development institution that provided consumer products
Personal interest in camera technologies and image quality
Strong communication and cooperation skills
Learning passion and a proactive approach to developing skills
At least an intermediate level in both written and spoken English.

Nice to be

– Experience in camera image processing techniques such as 3A, Demosaic and Lovement
– Affection with the quality of the objective image quality in the laboratory environments
– Experience in Bethon programming
-Experience with the cameras
– Knowing camera technologies, including photo sensors, optics, surrounding light sensors (ALS), and lighting methods (for example, wled, IR LEDS).
