The inspiring future contracts for Zero Carbon Mobility (Infuze) is a major £ five -year research grant for a five -year funding from the Physical Sciences Research Council. By working in Leeds, Landter universities and the Royal College of Art, Infuze seeks to achieve a transformative change in how to make transportation, and to address climate challenge while improving fairness and quality of life. Infuze is an exciting new cooperation that will work with citizens and companies to re -imagine our transportation systems. The program will build an increasingly ambitious group of experiences in the real world with societies, transport providers and government partners.

Infuze seeks a post -doctoral design researcher to contribute to our pioneering work in transforming urban movement systems and their experiences. This role provides an exciting opportunity to engage in transit research and develop innovative solutions to include and net challenges facing urban movement in the twenty -first century.

The perfect candidate will be:

• At least one demonstration of the following
  • PhD in a related field (for example design research, service design, navigation design, urban design, transition design)
  • Or an equivalent level in a different sector
  • Or a master’s degree and great experience in research projects
• Evidence of the production of quality design outputs related to the functional and discipline.
• Experience with the design centered around people and comprehensive
• Experience in perception, creating an influential design and artwork
• Experience in the design of exhibitions and public events
