The University of London is the largest provider in the United Kingdom for the international distance and online learning and the Federation of 17 London -based universities, many of which are among the highest universities in the world.

Collectively, the Federation represents a group of about 250,000 learners and 50,000 academic and professional services employees. Within this group, there are about 40,000 London University students who study programs that are developed and delivered in partnership with our 17 members of our union.

Role

The Senate Library is the Central Library of the University of London, and one of the home libraries of the Advanced School, specializing in arts research collections, humanities, social sciences and private groups. The library seeks to employ one customer service employee to be in the private group team and work alongside the main customer services team at the Senate Library. The successful candidate will also work for our “virtual reading room”, allowing users to reach some of our most private groups from anywhere in the world.

This is a part -time role for 28 hours a week. Microbial work patterns will be arranged between the employment manager and a successful candidate.
