In this post:

While he was in Libeville, Gabon – see My previous position To get an introduction to the country-it ran all the road to the nursery, on the road arrived in the north of Akanda, Estérias, especially Resto-CAP (Ex La Marée), where some love in power in Libreville lunch, on weekends in particular.

The nursery wins about 10 miles north of Libeville. The name of Mr. Rabonda Walker, whose mother was from Gabon and a father from the United Kingdom. André Rabonda Walker (1838-1910, WikipediaIt is said that he was able to remember the name of 1000 plants. The preservation of nature was his passion, and Gabon achieved well in environmental science under 50 years of ruling for the Bongo dynasty. We hope that …

The same road is not interesting, especially the borders, especially on weekends (I did this running on Monday morning, which helped). But I was looking for a long time, so miles are needed. Otherwise, there is a parking lot at the garden entrance, if you have a car, or a taxi deportation. Advice if you run it: as always, on the left side, against traffic. The road is wide enough, there is room for cars to pass it. However, if you do not see the traffic coming towards you, you are very careful, then there may be a car or truck behind you another dates. There are deadly accidents often …

With regard to the park, the paths are well distinctive and good conditions, and this is the style in a few sections. Harming? In the world of running in North America, it symbolizes the Hawaian Ultra Running team, a club formed in the eighties that hosts 100 miles axis after that. With gnarly paths and tons of roots. This is where the comparison stops: Hurt is an arduous race on a 20 -mile (5 times) episode and 24500 feet of cumulative height. The paths across the nursery roll, but, regardless of these roots, nothing is difficult. Well, with the exception of some difficult Khor crossings on the red ring.

The red ring is the longest one, about 10 miles away, including the green loop that you must cover first.

I even took the extension or turning to the beach, so I covered the entire garden while I was in it.

Here is a bridge (click This link Or the picture below).

And more pictures, below. In general, I would definitely recommend running in the garden, as it makes you appreciate the forest that is very abundant in the gabon. And trees, very high. In a very safe environment and there is no risk to counter wild animals. For the road, not much, if you can ride there from Libreville. Another advice: Carry a lot of water! I am not used to running moisture, sweating a lot, and I had to stop in a small store on the way to buy a large bottle of water, although two loaded bottles. I stopped twice to water my head at water stations along the way. It was only 80f (26C), but moisture killed me! Well, not literally, but it was a challenge.

We had a family lunch, so I had to return to the back, with only 24 miles on the GPS. Later in the afternoon, I returned to the beach and described it in my previous participation. A total of 28 miles. Hence, the sunset pictures are included in the bridge video above. Not fast running with moisture, but no, it didn’t take me all day to cover this 45 km, PHEW!

Do you like Gabon? It was definitely useful to Africa! My next posts will revolve around the nearby Sao Tommy and Brencype, which I found more attractive. Now, I would like to admit that a week in Gabon, most of them in Libreville, does not do justice to the entire country. Gorilla did not see, for example, although I was told that there is a better place to see them in the wild, in other countries, and cheaper. As I indicated above, tourists have not been well developed in the Gabon, making the trips expensive. However, I may not visit again, there are 40 other countries to visit before!

The road towards the Estérias hat.

There is no recycling in the gabon and burning the garbage in a container next to the road (I had to run in this smoke on the way back, Yixes!).

Access to the nursery.

Parking.

the Headquarters (Rangers is on weekends, to collect fees; apparently, there are not enough visitors during the week to justify their presence).

The road.

The map that shows all rings, including the longest red, as well as the shift to the beach.

Long trees (vertical panorama mode)!

And many roots.

One of the Creek crossings.

Black to the beach.

A very descending path to the beach.

Crab trap that seems to be a job!

This crossing was easy, with a job bridge. Next, you were not photographed, it was an adventure!

Return to the garden entrance.

The local market is on the way back to Liberville.

The only sunset that we had during our stay.

At the end of La Sablière beach, plasmate panels in the seven provinces.
