Who we are

What will you do?

In this role, the person will be a creative analytical thinker and strong skills to develop content and a passion for formal and informal education and public communication. As an education and communication specialist, you will be included with Noa Monitor National Marine Sanctury, and you are responsible for:

• Daily management of education and communication programs with MNMS.
• Development and implementation of work plans and communication with MNMS.
• Development of education, communication, marketing, communications, programs and tools for each of the topics and topics related to science and mathematics.
• Cooperation with the Sanctuary Partner, the Marines and Park Museum, to support the current screening of the screen, and work alongside Mariners employees to create new education and communication programs and products. Cooperative programming formats in the museum include, in the semester, virtual, and outdoor air in Marines.
• Cooperation with the sanctuary employees and partners in developing and implementing education and communication events.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of education and communication programs.
• Daily management of the Monitor National Sanctuary site and social media channels, including coordination publications, asset sources, cooperation with other teams, management platforms, and participation with the social community.
• Management and implementation of all social campaigns to advance general participation and enhance the national awareness monitoring of the marine reserve and the brand equality.
• Providing support and assistance in developing, implementing and evaluating the submerged NC seminar chain.
• Developing and preserving strategic partnerships to enhance the ability of the campus to inspire the survival of the ocean, literacy in the ocean, and cultural heritage.
• Determine the chances of education and communication activities, including maintaining the speeches of agreement with official partnerships.
• Education, volunteers and trainees.
• Helping to provide logistical support for the meetings of the Sanctuary Consulting Council, including help in developing the agenda of the meeting, meeting minutes, and performing other duties as needed.

Required qualifications:

• A degree included or completed a major study in education or a combination of education and experience with courses equivalent to specialization in education.

• Experience in developing K-12 activities, curricula or training for teachers.
• Excellent contacts, organizational skills, writing, and project management.
• Experience in producing web content in a clear language, focusing on social media for a federal or educational agency, a non -profit organization, a Congress office, a private company or another professional institution.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to details.
• The ability to perform under tight timing and forgery tasks and multiple projects.

• The video editing program is proficient, preferably with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign).
