Overview of the role

As the Director of Product Engineering, you will build and manage a team of full -stacked web engineers who work on Bitmex.com and the application programming interface and mobile applications. It will work closely with our sales, marketing, subsidiary companies, other product engineering teams and other technical teams, to implement the retail strategy in Bitmex in a cooperative way, providing a smooth and attractive user experience at all touch points for customers – which perpetuates the Bitmex reputation, sects and learners in the financing industry.

In short: We want you to re -invent, desigrate and redefine Bitmex UI in close cooperation with the retail growth team.

Responsibilities

• Team leadership and development: Administration of a team of 5 full engineers, which strengthen a high -performance culture, lease and direct members of the new team
• Product Development: Cooperation with our sales stakeholders and managers of other technical products and departments in BitMEX, to identify and supervise the development of an exciting and coherent encrypted experience for both retailers and evolving traders.
• Technical leadership: Leading technical initiatives associated with the development of the product, and implementing a cooperative to develop it with your team. Working with other engineering teams for products and other technical departments to create best engineering practices, continuous update, raising technological standards and customer experience, enhancing efficiency in providing financial products with a global level that has set new standards in the market

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of professional experience exceeds an advanced degree in computer science
• The experience of building, managing and training a team from both the front/back interface/mobile software engineers and designers
• Fixed experience with nodejs rose
• Experience in cooperation with product managers, project management in developing many products and concepts, and making complex products dependent on consumers.
• Knowledge of current industry coding practices, design patterns, frameworks, publishing and test automation
• The experience of building the user interface is actual time, and the experience of work in financial services
