— the latest insights
In this post:
Death is one of the greatest health challenges in our century. Until now there is no way to prevent it or even slow down its progress, and there is an urgent need to fill the knowledge gap in our primary understanding of the diseases it causes.
the UK Dementary Research Institute (UK DRI) is the largest initiative in the UK that leads to the front to enter this gap.
We are a pioneering multidisciplinary research institute at the level of 850 employees looking at the spectrum of neurological degenerative disorders that cause dementia, with laboratory -based research groups at the University University of London, Cambridge University, Cardiff University, Edinburgh University, and the College Empire, and the King College London.
UK researchers use in King’s King innovative curricula to explore the biological mechanisms involved in neurological degenerative diseases. Their goal is to defeat dementia by detecting new vital knowledge that will lead to the design of the most intelligent diagnosis and effective treatments. The team aims to understand the basic biological processes involved in dementia at the molecular level – and to use this knowledge to design new ways to diagnose and treat the disease more accurately.
About the role
A new position for an experienced research assistant is available UK Dementary Research Institute (UK DRI) Research Group led by Dr. Sarah Marzi.
Dr. Sarah Marzi Group is seeking an organized and enthusiastic individual to fully -time research assistant to support their research. This will be primarily a role in supporting work in the culture of stem cells, including the small meat cells derived from IPSC and kinetic neurons. The search assistant will contribute to the operation of functional cells, as well as the work of the molecular biology laboratory, including the cellular flow, the analysis of the RNA sequence through the next generation sequence, the single cell approach and the nanopurial sequence. It requires consistency and attention to details, as well as preparing to work on the weekend in the context of cellular work. The pregnant woman will also provide support for organizational and general technology to allow the smooth and effective operation of the laboratory.
Dr. Marzi Group aims to determine the role of Lajini organization in neurological degenerative diseases, including Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, using the latest Lagin and genetic techniques in cell groups and at the level of one cell. Specifically, we seek to determine the genetic link between the genetic and environmental risks that are not encoded in the dementia and determine the mechanisms that make the risk factors these cells vulnerable to nervous mobility.
Some of the main skills concerned include;
- Maintain accurate laboratory records
- Maintaining experiments and conducting experiments on IPScs and mammal cells’ cultures
- DNA extract/RNA and library preparation
- The amount of genetic samples (DNA/RNA/libraries) on the tape station or the like
- Supporting multiple -owing experiences of individual cells, including nuclear extraction, and library generation
- Communicate with other technical employees to serve and maintain shares and equipment

- MSC/MSCI in biology, neuroscience, genome, or the like
- Experience in cell culture, including the culture of human IPSC cells specifically
- Experience with stimulant cells or nuclear sorting
- Knowledge of the science of creation and the organization of genes
- Experience with a fluorescent microscope, immune immunity
- Experience in Elisa
- Knowledge of primary neuroscience and neurological degenerative diseases
