The Lancaster Learning Development Team seeks to appoint an educational developer 0.2FTE, which will support students in the FRONTLINE program for a six -month maternity vacation cover. You will join a team of ten educational developers, managed by the library, most of whom have the roles of faculty members.
You will be asked to work individually and as part of a team to help graduate students registered in the front lines program that is managed in the Sociology Department to develop effective and independent learners. Flexibility is very important because students who study in the front lines program also work alongside their studies.
You will have a master’s degree in relevant discipline and a teaching qualification is desirable in addition to the progress fellowship. You will have experience in supporting students through their academic development in particular with academic writing and literacy assessment.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work sensitively with students and colleagues from a group of cultural and academic backgrounds.
