The Finance Department seeks to employ a financial manager to join the active and dynamic professional services team. This role will sit within our administrative accounting team, in a report to the Finance Director, along with the directors of the Faculty of Faculty, Academic Faculty. This is a pivotal and clear role that provides the opportunity to contribute directly in the strategic direction of professional services departments, with the support of a firm financing team. You will have the opportunity to participate in exciting projects, change change and support a wide range of departments.

About the role

You will be responsible for financial partnership services and their support for a group of professional services units, primarily in the Directorate of Professional Support Services, but it also supports all university departments through financial operations and responsibilities as a minimum: includes:

• Financial prediction, quarterly per year and long (including cash flow and consumption)
• Difficult assumptions when necessary
• Planning business and advice, including advice for the personality
• Support the process of preparing the rental residence for students
• Representation of financing on the main university panels

The necessary skills, experience and qualifications

• Accounting qualification with experience in providing commercial partner’s support to senior leaders.
• Excellent communication and personal skills to build a network from the main contacts throughout the university, and you will be a team player with a campaign to obtain things in the right time the first time.
• The ability to explain and process data to provide high standards management information, comfort using a set of accounting software tools
• The ability to manage other employees in the professional services accounting team as well as influence the main stakeholders throughout the university.
