About the role

This exciting opportunity at the Bronil Center includes joining a leading initiative at the forefront of regional economic research and development.

Integrated in a cooperative partnership between UWE Bristol, Bath University, West Futures, funded by the Red Research Fund, will be the Bronil Center as a vital center for economic data, knowledge exchange and policy innovation.

It will work as a director of development in the Bronil Center team to play an essential role in leading external income generation, stakeholders’ interactions, and management of partnerships for the Brunell Center with regional and national interest owners.

It will be based on the campus of Bath University, but it is expected to operate flexibly through the offices of partners – the University of West England and the futures contracts in the west – and in the west of England and the southwest region.

Events and workshops will attend, as needed, to support the development of partnership and the chances of the Bronil Center in London and other places in the United Kingdom.

Our perfect candidate

We are looking for a dynamic leader or a great manager with experience installed in the strategy and/or business development in the Business Organization, or the public sector.

You will have experience in managing partnerships, you will be adept in purchasing and contracting services, and you will participate in securing research and innovation financing.

You will have strong skills between people, flourish in cooperative environments, and you have communication skills to build confidence and relationships with stakeholders and major partners, in both academic and commercial environments.

You understand the context of the regional policy of West England and the wider region, and the research areas on which the center will focus.

Additional information

This is a fixed -range mode, with the initial completion date on March 30, 2030; However, we imagine that this role will play a major role in placing the BRUNEL center on a sustainable road, which may lead to a long -term work.
