About this team and the role:

Firefox Desktop Test Engineering (DTE) is a geographical distributed team responsible for verifying the health of all critical browser areas, through the basic and new test, through the dedicated test. We focus on user representation, leadership quality via Firefox, and support for the difference in providing an easy -to -use experience. As a great engineer, you will lead the Manual & Automation, cooperate with multi -functional teams and a test and quality defending.

What will you do:

• Development and implementation of comprehensive test plans using a combination of manual and automatic tests for artificial intelligence features in Firefox. Write, operate and maintain tests.
• Building tools and frameworks to make the test easier and faster. Implementation of the test automation for automated learning algorithms.
• Cooperation with various teams throughout the Foundation to solve complex technical problems that reduce technological debts, improve efficiency, and enable high -quality code delivery at high speed.
• Help specify the priorities of the product test and the risk management, and the call to build powerful systems and practices, and represent our ultimate users’ interests.
• Contributing to building a health team culture, the person who starts to the sellers team members, and cancel the ban on others/make notes.
• Be a strong and opinion advocate of testing and quality.

What you will bring:

• 5+ years of experience in test engineering role (for example, SDET, a large test engineer, test automation driving).
• 3+ years of experience with Pytest, Selenium or similar frameworks.
• A busy record in the leading AI/ML feature test and implementation with experience in both manual and automatic user interface test. Maher in verifying the validity of the outputs driven by artificial intelligence, ensuring accuracy and reliability and the non -welcoming user experience.
• He is mastered in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies. It is experienced in working with testing status management and errors tracking tools.
• Project delivery experience with geographically distributed teams or sellers companies.

• Analysis and treatment of advanced software development problems that extend to multiple components, and sometimes outside the areas of experience.
