Motherhood coverage – holding up to 12 months
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced social work A professional to join our social work team as a great lecturer / lecturer. You will deliver teaching in registration courses before registration, supervision of students, contribute to the design of the curriculum, and the places of support. You will work alongside a committed academic team to ensure high -quality teaching and develop a scholarship in the field of social work.
You will have a strong background in social work and a passion for teaching and developing future practitioners. You will be a qualified social worker, registered in social work in England, and you have a modern or current experience in practicing social work in the legal or volunteer sector.
It will bring a deep understanding of the complications and challenges in contemporary social work and commitment to promoting anti -moderate, anti -discrimination practice. Ideally, you will also have experience in providing teaching or training in professional or academic environments.
As a member of our academic team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of high -quality teaching in our university courses and postgraduate studies, supervision of students on employment, and support for academic and vocational development. It will work cooperatively with colleagues throughout the wider department and university, as well as with external stakeholders and employees.
We are particularly interested in experienced or experience in mental health and/or education. Previous experience in the context of the university that provides social work courses will be useful for this role; However, we welcome requests from practitioners who may be new in higher education. Support and guidance will be provided to help your move to the team.
How will you work?
We are committed to support Flexible ways to work Whenever possible. This role is 18.5 hours per week, preferably on Friday to Friday for teaching obligations.
The attendance of the campus will differ on a daily basis throughout the year, but it must be consistently compatible with the service that is delivered and meet the needs of our students, our employees and the stakeholders. It is expected to spend most of your work time on campus.
