Summary of the job

Dir Foundation – Grants will develop and submit grants and supervision reports to charitable grants to support BSWH initiatives. He will/be responsible for achieving goals to collect annual donations and the final dates for progressing on the mission of the Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation. The director will work in close cooperation with the leadership of the Foundation and the team, in addition to the leaders of the service line.

The basic functions of the role

1. Development and offer proposals to secure charitable grants for capital, education, program and research initiatives in accordance with Funder and BSWH instructions; Focusing on grants in the range of main gifts.
2. The admission of proper donors guarantee reports and supervision of 50 or more charitable grants during a timely fiscal year, according to BSWH and Bunder instructions.
3. Participates in the activities of collecting internal and external information to develop content for reports and suggestions to supervise content.
4. Follow -up dates for grant reports, and maintain supervision records in the customer relationship management system.
5. It creates and maintains effective relationships with the internal, external, financiers and peers of interest to increase the total grant revenues.
6. Other duties perform the appropriate duties as required in a specialized, professional and polite manner.
7. It searches and applies best practices, trends and tools in the charitable sector and translate them for use in BSWH as necessary.

Main success factors

1. The experience of writing charitable grant proposals and grant supervision reports.
2. The ability to work with a wide range of people including financiers/charitable program employees, prospects, board members, doctors, officials and employees
3. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, or other specialization that focuses on writing.
