One of the search lines in this project is allocated to develop and improve the final panels, and critical structural components that guarantee the safety and effectiveness of fuel cells. The main goal of this work is to develop a calculation model to improve the topology of these final panels. The improvement problem focuses on reducing the sound level, taking into account multi -physics restrictions that guarantee structural safety, uniform pressure distribution, and thermal management. To address the gap in literature, the model includes local restrictions on stress, displacement, and temperature, which are imposed through the enhanced Lagrangian method, as well as global restrictions for mechanical and thermal compliance. The proposed methodology aims to enhance the mechanical and thermal performance of the final paintings, which leads to a significant decrease in the mass, which is crucial to navigation applications. The post -processing and experimental verification of the Treatment and experimental verification will be subject to verification of results.

The candidate will contribute in line with the main goals of the projects:
- Development and improvement of SOFCS finishing panels using Multistysics, in order to ensure structural integrity, distribution of uniform pressure, and effective thermal management under high temperature operating conditions (500-1000 ° C).
- Implementing and verifying the validity of an advanced arithmetic framework that includes local restrictions (stress, displacement, temperature) through the enhanced Lagrangian method and global compliance restrictions, and the application of double thermal mechanical simulation to predict performance in real scenarios.
- Manufacturing and testing the initial models of improved ending panels using added manufacturing, verifying the validity of their mechanical, thermal and electrochemical performance experimentally under operational conditions, including thermal cycling and exposure to reducing the atmosphere and oxidation.
Requirements to fill the situation:
This project is suitable for high motivated candidate and requires programming skills in Bethon, experience in calculation mechanics, numerical improvement methods and efficiency in the English language. Experience with the limited element method and with simulation of multi -physics systems is not required, but will be considered in the evaluation.
The filter should hold a PhD in mechanical engineering or in relevant fields, with the skills described above.
Information on Fellowship:
This fellowship is funded after the doctorate by FAPSP. Fellowship will cover the standard maintenance salary of $ 12,570.00 monthly.
