This role will work with our assistant director and technical director to ensure the provision of high -quality service to our customers in the Midlands region.

your The main environmental advisor in Adas You can expect to manage and deliver all elements of protected species/field surveys, evaluation, tenders/quotes, writing reports, project management and associated client. As an environmental consultant at the main level, you will be responsible for:

  • Work with our assistant director and technical director, as well as our environmental scientists to ensure the provision of high -quality service to our customers
  • A team management line of environmental scientists.
  • Support and strengthening the team of environmental scientists in Midlands through training, development, support and advice.
  • Provide advice and help coordinate all aspects of the project related to the project.
  • Project management from start to completion
  • Talk to our customers and provide strong technical advice.
  • Writing technical reports including but not limited to, initial environmental assessments, environmental impact assessments, mitigation strategies, net profitable biological profit assessments, habitat regulations and protected species reports.
  • Technical review and approval of the reports.
  • Contribute to the ethics of the broader environment team, especially to support and develop best practices and cooperation in consulting.
  • Develop your knowledge, skills and competencies through training opportunities and conferences provided to Adas.
  • Enhancing customer relationships through successful delivery of tenders and projects.

You must have:

  • Graduation or discipline is the first degree level or profession qualification.
  • Full CIEEM membership is able to achieve this.
  • In -depth knowledge of the environment, legislation and scanning techniques, preferred through large -scale projects.
  • Excellent written communication skills are able to submit accurate technical reports.
  • A proactive position on the management of your own time, finding solutions and ensuring that work is provided on time and the required standards.
  • Managing strong customer relationships and business development skills.
  • Full driver’s license, access to your private car and be transportable to our office.

We will be keen to know if you have (this is desirable, but not required):

  • Great Crested Newt, Hazel Dormous, Bats, etc.).
  • Experiment to mitigation license.
  • CSCS card.
  • Personal path safety (PTS) is qualified.
