About the role:

The Department of Chemical Engineering welcomes the applications of publishing an analytical service technician.

What will you do:

PostHolder will help the head of analytical services and their team in providing daily operations for the ASS Services Laboratory (ASS) in the Department of Chemical Engineering. Postolder will be part of the ASL team and performs a set of specialized technical support tasks and provides training for a set of ASL tools for employees and students.

What we are looking for:

• BSC, Btech (or equivalent), with a recognized laboratory technical training plan.
• Experience installed in data collection, processing, interpretation and presentation of laboratory equipment
• The basic knowledge of the wide range of analytical equipment and experience installed in the operation of some technologies at least (such as HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, UV-VIS, DSC, gas absorption analysis)
• You must have communication skills between people and communication
• Knowing and understanding the regulations and safety procedures in the workplace
• Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of safety in the workplace is desirable, preferably experienced in the higher education sector.
