About eit
The Ellison Institute of Technology creates a global research and development facility at Oxford Science Park to push sustainable innovation in health, food security, climate change, and Amnesty International – the transformation of science into global solutions.
About the Institute of Plant Biology
Leaded by Professor Steve Kelly, the Plant Biology Institute is a major part of Eit Oxford. Its mission is to develop influential and sustainable solutions to improve global food production and the health of planets through leading plant science.
The institute brings together world -class researchers focusing on enhancing food production while improving climate results and ecosystem. By including advanced plant science within an organization dedicated to resolving global challenges, we aim to accelerate the journey from discovery to influence.
Includes research areas:
- Improving the productivity of the plant inside and in the open air
- Reducing dependence on water, fertilizers, pesticides and herbal pesticides
- Developing platforms made of non -carbon plants for food and medicine
- Progress technologies to accelerate and publish plant research
EIT is looking for high -motivated research aides to join the pioneering vegetarian biology institute. It will contribute to the transformational research to the stabilization of biological nitrogen, plant -based production platforms for food and medicines, or advanced techniques for planting the plant and editing the genome.
This role provides a unique opportunity to conduct highly influencing research on the forefront of plant science, and cooperation through multidisciplinary teams to push innovation from the laboratory to global influence. You will design and implement experiments, contribute to publications and generate IP, and help translate research into real and commercial solutions that are in line with the EIT mission of human technological progress.
Main responsibilities
- Designing and implementing experiments in one of the basic topics
- Apply a wide range of technologies to achieve research goals
- Maintain accurate records, analyze data, contribute to reports and publications, and IP protection
Cooperation and communication
- Working with multi -functional teams to integrate advanced technologies
- Providing results internally and externally
- Teacher graduate students and junior researchers
- Cooperation
Research that depends on influence
