Jobal Overview:

Assistant Sports Information Manager assists the assistant athletics manager for media/community relations in all aspects of sports information related to 31 Versity SPORTS, including producing publications, writing press releases and post -game stories, updating the athletics department website, collecting team statistics and assisting daily operations of the game. In addition, the assistant sports information manager will be responsible for promoting our sports programs, managing media relations, and enhancing the vision of sports students and our teams through various platforms. This position requires creativity, strong writing skills, and a passion for sports.

Knowledge of work:

Knowing the work of NCAA rules and systems. Strong writing, editing and communication skills. Efficiency in digital media tools, social media platforms, and statistical programs. The ability to work flexible watches, including evenings and weekends, during sports seasons. Strong organizational skills and attention to details. A passion for sports and commitment to promoting group athletics.

One year one experience in sports information one year of experience in electronic or printed media

education:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, press, sports management or relevant field is required.

Licensing/certificates

The required valid driver’s license.
