The post -PhD Center in Nuclear Physics/Theoretical Guard at the University of Indiana
The nuclear theory group in the Department of Physics at the University of Indiana Bloomington (IU) invites requests for post -PhD research under the supervision of Dr. Sebastian Dod. The date may start early on August 1, 2026 (with a flexible start dates), for a period of two years, with the possibility of extension to the third year based on performance and financing.
The IU nuclear theory group consists of four faculty members, many researchers after the doctorate and graduate students. Current research areas include: Hadronic capacity analysis, excitement theory, heavy ion collisions, QCD hot materials, investigations in physics that exceed the model, and official developments in the QCD network.
PhD in high -energy or nuclear theoretical physics is required from the time of appointment. Research experience in one or more areas, including QCD poetry, effective field theory, Handic/nuclear prose, preferred.
