About the role

• Contribute to the design, implementation and development of the stereotypes offered by the Surrey International Study Center.
• Preparing and presenting teaching lessons, including seminars and educational sessions.
• Write and prepare unit exams and other forms of formative and summary evaluation.
• Mark formative and summary applications for students and submitted time notes to students on their performance, including educational programs and writing student reports.
• Develop and update the training course for stereotypes and teaching sessions, including the stereotypes of the virtual learning environment (VLE).
• Work with the center’s management team in delivering induction, guidance and registration programs.
• Notification and contact with colleagues, when necessary, to ensure that all students get support and continuous progress.
• It follows the academic trip for students and identifying and implementing appropriate intervention strategies to support continuous learning.
• Work as an academic guide for a group or more students.
• Implementing quality guarantee procedures at the teaching unit level, the level of teaching session, contributing to the annual monitoring of training courses and reviewing courses.
• Maintaining accurate and modern records to attend, share and perform students.
• Attendance and contribute to monotheism, moderation, and other quality assurance meetings.
• Participate in regular meetings with teaching and support employees who contribute to the effective comprehensive management of the program and the student life cycle.
• Keep and provide accurate and timely records for teaching and other activities.
• Participate in regular training and development activities and maintain a record of these activities.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of relevant subject and minimum master’s degree.
• Related teaching qualification.
• The spoken and written English language.
• The experience of teaching in the higher or additional education sector in the United Kingdom is preferred to be qualified to teach and experience working with international students.
