About the role:
It will manage all aspects of the nuclear magnetic resonance facility (NMR) including operational, financial and strategic planning.
Are you one of the spectral analysis of the nuclear magnetic resonance with an ambition to lead and provide a great service at a leading university in the world?
What will you do?:
Your specialized expertise will provide a global level service for both internal and external users and commercial partners. You will also support other facility managers, provide appropriate coverage during the annual leave and disease, in proportion to the class.
What are we looking for:
A person who can manage all aspects of the nuclear magnetic resonance facility, to include:
- Supervising the nuclear magnetic resonance facilities to ensure the provision of a first -class research service, and the management of operations related to the needs of all tools and customers (internal and external), including managing the work burden to ensure a smooth operation of the elbow.
- Development of operational strategy plans to support continuous growth and reputation of the MRI internally and externally.
- Providing leadership and expertise as necessary to support both internal and external customers in providing research projects to ensure the neutrality of cost
- Providing expert guidelines and developing the necessary documents regarding the experimental design for current and potential users, including the variable temperature, motor analysis and data simulation and are able to adapt the current systems to change requirements.
- Working closely with the research manager, MRI facilities and departments research leads to the search for a grant and apply for other financing opportunities to develop the facility’s ability and diversity.
- Provide recommendations to the head of technical operations, the main MRI and the director of research regarding horizon and direction analysis.
- Prepare regular use reports, develop and review pricing strategies to support the facility’s self -sustainability through a transparent approach (TRA) and the symbol.
- General responsibility for the safety, development and efficiency of all individuals who reach the elbow-whether internal researchers, contractors and visitors are. Or external partners through pre -emptive leadership, strict standards and continuous improvement.
- Use special experience to maintain the operational efficiency of the tools, to include improving equipment, filling nitrogen and helium.
- Managing all administrative duties of the MRI, including the electronic reservation and bills system (PPMS), the management of external customer contracts (ICON) and financial planning.
- Maintaining and developing risk assessments and standard operating procedures (SOPS) associated with the facility.
