First Education Director

FIRSTWORKS is a non -profit art organization based in Rod Island, which is based in Rod Island, which is devoted to enhancing cultural, educational and economic vitality of our society by involving the masses through international arts and education programs.

The Director of Education will lead and manage the first -to -come education program, manage, implement and improve programming in schools, settings outside the school, and through communication between society and participation. Our educational programming belongs to two topics: “Raise your voice”, which highlights the various sounds through the arts, and “Earth’s works”, which focus on environmental call and supervision through arts.

This role requires both practical implementation and participation in a high -level program design. We are looking for an innovative application with exceptional communications and organizational skills that flourish in fast -pace environments. The situation provides great responsibility and opportunities for growth, and work through multiple sections.

This is a full -time location with the FIRSTWORKS offices in Provence, where RI currently operates under a mixed model that requires works in the office 3 days on average per week, with evening times and an additional weekend to support public programming.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordination of educational arts events with a tour and local artists for each of the connections outside the school.
  • Define and track the goals and measures of the influence of education programs, in cooperation with the CEO and the administrative director, which guarantees the evaluation and alignment with the comprehensive organizational strategic goals.
  • Cooperation with the program manager to develop and design educational participation opportunities on the basis of technical programming.
  • Planning and implementing programs from start to finish, and ensuring achievement of score and registration goals.
  • Supervising the technical production needs of artists for educational connections.
  • Her rental and supervision of external AV technicians as needed.
  • Participation cultivation, participation, and scheduling of participation in First ARTS EDUCION.
  • As a preliminary communication communication with K -12, University, and community partners.
  • Enhancing broad and varied partnerships, and maintaining continuous relationships with RI schools (especially in our basic school areas from Provence, Pawtuckty, Central Fols, Nioport), teachers, officials, practitioners, community organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Development and presentation of presentations to schools, teachers, financiers and society to enhance the clarity and impact of the first -class education initiatives.
  • FIRSTWORKS is represented in society events and act as an ambassador to the organization.
  • Distributing free and dominated tickets to school and other partners.
  • Contribute to granting proposals, and preparing compliance reports
  • Cooperation with marketing to enhance participation and enhance the first brand of education
  • Track and manage education budget expenditures with the support of the administrative director.
  • Supervising employees/contractors support the additional program as needed, including employment and training and managing seasonal camps.
  • Explore and repair errors and resolve challenges proactively.
  • Data analysis and the creation of reports on education programming.
  • Fulfillment of the performance of employees/tasks of the duty of event as needed.
  • Use the First Westworks Systems for Communications, Schedule and Document Management (Assana, Outlook Calendar, Teams).
