Search for a doctorate degree to support research projects in nanotechnology related to the single molecule and spectroscopy for one cell. This work uses the pores of a nanometer diameter through a nanometer membranes with a thickness or quartz with the nanometer diameter holes that are immersed in an electric solution to detect one molecules for applications in the protein sequence or determine external cell secretions. The successful applicant must have completed a doctorate degree and preferably in electrical engineering, physics, biomedic physics, biotechnology, molecular biology and cells, with a universal -level research capacity that is reflected in the publishing record.

A great skill is required in the implementation of experiments to explore interactions between vital molecules and biological nanoparticles. Experience in a sub -set of the following specializations mandatory: Electron electron scanning corrected by deviation; Flour and nianofolic; Atomic power/microscopic microscopic survey; Free laser optics are preferably optical compresses; Manufacturing a semiconductor device. High frequency, low -noise electrical measurements; Connect computers with devices using LabView; Programming in Matlab, Python, C ++ and/or Igor. For more information, candidates must refer to the website: http://www3.nd.edu/~gtimp/.
