We are looking for a large communications manager not only implemented, but think strategically and creatively to push awareness, access and advocacy. This is a role for a person who flourishes in mystery, determines the opportunities that others ignore, and provides communications that distinguish Mozilla, all with limited supervision.

As a great director of communications, you will lead to the development and implementation of external media strategies that support the mission of Mozilla and amplify its presence across sectors. It will work in a cross with teams, including products, brand, legal, politics and social/content, to formulate convincing and worthy accounting novels that resonate with both technological and public fans.

The main part of your success in this role will be your ability to tell stories that clearly distinguish Mozilla from competitors, highlight our distinctive values, our open source roots, and our first approach to technology. You will lead to participation in the media and manage the main correspondent relationships, but you will also consider post -press, to find innovative ways to excite the conversation, form stories, and make people talk about the work of Mozilla and its products in the broader culture and landscapes of technology.

You will be a reliable consultant with senior executives when needed, preparing them for public participation and playing a major role in launching products, driving thought, and locating for the company. Sophisticated multi -function projects will lead with minimal trend, and transfer ambiguity and move from strategy to implementation clearly. You will also improve communications from the project’s work to a strategy at the program level by creating success standards, budget coordination and ensuring long -term effect.

What will you do:

• Driving external communications for Mozilla products and initiatives.
• Development and implementation of comprehensive media strategies that push awareness, differentiation and business results.
• Drafting highly influential messaging, journalistic materials, blog posts, and executive content-focusing on a clear discrimination on Mozilla from its competitors.
• Media relations management through technical, business and consumer sectors.
• As an essential contact – proactive promotion, respond to inquiries, and manage continuous press relations.
• Prepare and train senior executives for media interviews, public speeches, and high clarity opportunities.
• The leading complex communication projects, multiple stakeholders with limited monitoring.
• Via job cooperation to ensure the story of alignment and consistent stories through channels.
• Develop new and independent new novels and strategies not only enhance campaigns, but also expect emerging trends, take advantage of cultural conversations, and enhance the unique Mozilla site in the market.
• The shift from the project to thinking at the level of the program by determining the scales of success, managing budgets, and using a long -term measurement to constantly improve the effect of communications.
• Provide strategic recommendations on communications priorities to support marketing goals and broader business.
• Mobility in sensitive issues with confidence and contribute to the response of strategic crises when needed.
