Summary of the job:

Workstream seeks from GMF strategic democratic initiatives to obtain a part-time trainee for the period from September 2025-Air 2026 to help support the program, research assistance, and coordinate the network linked to creating a new initiative on the army, democracy and society (MDS). The trainee will support the team with basic operational, communication and administrative activities related to the intersection of civilian military relations and democratic flexibility.

The trainees will benefit from exposure to GMF experts and networks, and they will receive valuable writing, analysis and experience. The training will consist of work between the characters and the distant. Only applicants will be seen from university graduates.

This position will be compensated by $ 17.50 per hour with a flexible commitment from 20-30 hours per week. The trainees are given an ideal opportunity to acquire a fundamental professional experience for those who want a profession in public policy or international affairs.

Possible main fields of responsibility:

• Coordination of policy makers, civil society groups, current and former members of the army, and other civil and military relations experts and practitioners
• Searching for civil military relations through a wide range of national and international contexts
• Helping to plan expert logistics, including the formation of the distinguished advisory council for American military civil thought leaders
• Monitor the developments of civil relations-at the level of the state and the federal level
• Providing support, writing and liberation in the publications related to the army, democracy and society
• Other duties were appointed

Qualifications and requirements:

• Strong analysis, writing and speaking skills in English
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details or experience in managing programs or favorite events planning
• Knowing or attention that can be proven in issues of democratic decline in Atlantic and military civil relations
• He graduated in the spring of 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, history, security studies, or a relevant field (this requirement is more flexible if the applicant is ancient military warriors))
• Research skills that can be clarified, preferably with research experience in issues related to democratic decline, civilian civil relations, or immigration
• Previous experience in a research tank, an institution, a non -governmental organization, a governmental body, a media outlet, or a similar organization that you prefer, but it is not required
• Efficiency with Microsoft Office
• Comfortable multi -task and work independently
• Military experience or experience with the issues of old warriors is preferred but not required

The beginning and length of schools:

• Favorite start and end: September 2025 – January 2026
• Favorite time: 20-30 hours per week, from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm (please)
